As a Order Fulfillment Worker, you will be responsible for 

• Offloading stock deliveries
•  Processing work orders
•  Locating merchandise
• Packaging orders for shipment. 

You have to work  in a busy warehouse setting by maintaining warehouse safety measures and following  systematic procedures of that setting.

As an Order Fulfillment Worker you need to do some physical tasks also. It would  include lifting some heavy warehouse products, engaging in uploading and unloading of orders. Besides, to maintain a systematic and hustle free order procedure you will require to learn to operate some warehouse tools like  forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and walkie-riders.

Basic Responsibilities

• Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.
• Arranging incoming deliveries in designated storage areas.
• Performing warehouse duties using pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
• Reading and deciphering work orders.
• Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
• Confirming merchandise information matches that of the work order.
• Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
• Packing the merchandise for delivery.
• Transporting the packed items to the delivery trucks.
• Finalizing the work order and updating the database.
• Adhering to state health and safety practices

Basic Requirements 

• Education qualification - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent diploma.
• Applicants must be above 18 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to lift some basic objects in the warehouse 
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools are preferred.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse tools like forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Good communication skill.
• Cooperation and coordination with the team workers along with a positive attitude for teamworks.
• Previous experience is not mandatory.
• Good time management skill.
