As a picker/ packer you are supposed to perform various physical tasks which include assisting with filling orders in a warehouse setting. Your main responsibility is to manage the warehouse and inventory and as a part of the supply chain staff, your basic task is picking and packing the goods.

PICKER/ PACKER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to locate the merchandise to fulfill picking tickets.
  • Assist in labeling the products in the inventory.
  • Must follow safe techniques in loading the stock in the inventory.
  • Transporting the packages to the delivery pallet.
  • Maintaining accurate records of packed stock.
  • Systematically organize the warehouse by using modern techniques.
  • Picking the appropriate product according to the customer''s needs.

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least one year of experience in a retail or customer service position will be a Trump card.
  • Must have strong muscles to lift the heavy objects in the warehouse.
  • Must be able to work at various heights by using ladders and scaffolds.
  • The ability to work under high pressure is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and interactive skills.
