Choose your wheels and deliver food and other items from local merchants to hungry customers.
DoorDash is a technology company that connects customers with local businesses. Customers order meals and other items from their favorite local merchants and Dashers deliver them directly to their doors. Dashers are third-party contractors who deliver for merchants to customers.
Dashers are paid on a per delivery basis, not per hour.
DoorDash has developed a business strategy to work with eateries that don't currently offer delivery. They then assign a third-party delivery driver to them. Dashers are independent contractors that sign up with DoorDash to make deliveries for local eateries.
You download the DoorDash app as a delivery driver and choose time slots for making deliveries in your area. Following that, the delivery driver fulfills orders to make deliveries for nearby restaurants.

Drivers that work for DoorDash to make deliveries get paid on a weekly basis. They get paid for all deliveries done between Monday and Sunday the previous week. The company deposits drivers' pay into their accounts right away. It may take up to two days for payments to reflect in your account, but they should be there by Wednesday evening.
The various means of transportation modes a DoorDash driver can use as dashing. DoorDash aims to figure out which order kinds are ideal for your type in order to make Dashing as successful as possible.
Dashing with a car will get you the most orders in most markets. In other marketplaces where driving a car is more difficult, you could find it easier to flee on a bike. Your market will dictate the types of dashes available to you. If your dash type is a motorized vehicle, it must pass a Motor Vehicle inspection.
DoorDash does a background check on every applicant for their criminal history and driving history. You may not qualify to deliver for DoorDash if any of these are found during the background check.
To help keep your account secure, DoorDash may ask you to verify your account information. Multi-factor authentication adds security to your account and can help prevent unauthorized access.
As part of the verification process, DoorDash will issue you a six-digit phone number via email or text message. Please keep in mind that a DoorDash agent will never ask you for this code. Don't pass it on to anyone else. After you've received the 6-digit code, follow the instructions in your account to enter it and confirm your identity.
